If you have an existing NFM.com account and you have an order that qualifies for cancellation*, you may sign in to your account and view Order History. Then you can navigate to the order you are looking to cancel.

Returns & Cancellation Policy:

All returns and cancellations are subject to approval by NFM, and returns are subject to inspection of merchandise. You agree to and understand the following:

  1. Items purchased "Special Order" may not be returned. NFM will assess a minimum of 25% fee for customers who cancel "Special Order" items.
  2. Items marked "Clearance," "As-ls" or "Final Sale" may not be returned.
  3. Computers, cameras, mobile phones and related items may be returned within 14 days of purchase if in original condition, complete with accessories, instructions, original box and packaging, and accompanied by a sales receipt.
  4. Unless otherwise stated in the terms of purchase, merchandise may be returned within 30 days of purchase, if in original condition and accompanied by a sales receipt.
  5. Unless otherwise stated in the terms of purchase, you agree to take delivery of merchandise within 60 days after the later of purchase or receipt of merchandise by NFM; otherwise, you forfeit any deposit paid and NFM may cancel the order and sell the merchandise to a third party and keep any proceeds.
  6. For all merchandise accepted by NFM for return, exchange, or cancellation, you agree to pay a reasonable restocking fee to be determined by NFM.
  7. For all merchandise accepted by NFM for return or exchange and for which NFM provides a service to pick up and return to NFM, you agree to pay a reasonable pick-up fee to be determined by NFM.

Bank Card

  • Refunded to the original bank card used.

Cash

  • Refunded in-store up to $500.
  • If refund is more than $500, the full refund will be issued by mail from our Omaha office.

Check

  • Refunded by mail a minimum of 14 days after original payment.

Exclusions

If your merchandise was delivered, and you wish to have NFM pickup the merchandise from your home, you will be charged for:

  1. The original delivery fee.
  2. A pickup charge equivalent to the normal delivery charge in your area. If you return your merchandise to NFM, you will only be assessed the original delivery fee.
  3. If you reselect, you will be charged a separate delivery fee on the new order in addition to the above fees.

If you want to return large merchandise yourself:

  1. Contact customer service and notify them of the return.
  2. Customer service will issue a return number.
  3. Go to drive through pickup and provide the return number.
  4. NFM will unload the item and enter the return into our system.

Fees such as equipment setup, assembly, Appliance and Electronics installation charges, Flooring installation charges and other miscellaneous fees are not refundable.

Any boxes or cartons of flooring must be returned in their original packaging and cannot be opened. Cut yardage flooring is not refundable.

Once Fabric Protection and Leather Care has been applied to your merchandise, the charges for this protection are not refundable.

Grills cannot be returned once they have been used. This includes all gas, charcoal, electric and wood-burning grills.

Unopened products in original packaging are eligible for return within 30 days.

Power equipment that requires gas and/or oil to operate may not be returned after any fluid has been installed. This equipment includes but is not limited to lawnmowers, generators, trimmers, blowers, and pressure washers. All electronic power equipment may not be returned after initial use or installation. This includes but is not limited to robotic mowers, blowers, pressure washers, and trimmers.

Products purchased due to weather related events are non-returnable. Power equipment that requires gas and/or oil to operate cannot be returned after fluid has been installed. This equipment includes but is not limited to lawnmowers, generators, trimmers, blowers, and pressure washers.

As a convenience to our customers, outdoor power equipment purchases are automatically registered with the manufacturer to ensure timely product notifications. These notifications will require NFM to share the following customer data: Name, Address, Phone Number, and Email. This will ensure proper notification of all warranty information as required.

Electric Bicycles have a return policy of 30 days or 50 mile maximum odometer reading.

The Bicycle must be in near-new condition without obvious physical damage or may be subject to 15% restocking fee.

Ready to assemble furniture cannot be returned once the box has been opened.

Because of the special nature of these items, all chandelier and ceiling fan sales are final unless all packaging is unopened. This includes uplight, downlight, cluster, pendant and pendant bowl chandeliers.

If you find that parts are missing or broken, please contact the manufacturer for replacement parts. We will be happy to assist with this process.

Returns on opened packages will be assessed a 25% restocking fee.

  • May be returned for Exchange, Refund or Store Credit up to 14 days after receipt.
  • All returns must be complete and in the same condition as originally purchased.
  • Receipt and original packaging is required.
  • Labor, Delivery and Installation charges are non-refundable.
  • Returns and Exchanges are at Nebraska Furniture Mart’s discretion.

You may exchange or return your device(s) to NFM one time within the first 14 days of the original purchase date. The device(s) must be in like-new condition and returned complete (including: device, charge, battery, instructions and any other component(s)) in its original box. A restocking fee of 15% will be required for any exchange(s) or return(s). Adding unauthorized software or hardware will negate NFM's obligation regarding your device(s), including the return policy.

Because of the special nature of these items, all sales are considered final. Therefore, the 30-day return policy does not apply to these items. (Defective software will be exchanged for same title only within 30 days).

You may exchange or return your device(s) to NFM one time within the first 14 days of the original purchase date. The device(s) must be in like-new condition and returned complete (including: device, charger, battery, SD card, instructions and any other component(s) in its original box). A restocking fee of 15% will be required for any exchange(s) or return(s). "Flashing" a phone or adding unauthorized software or hardware will negate NFM's obligations regarding your phone(s), including the return policy.

  1. Because it takes time for your mattress to feel just right, we require waiting 30 days before reselection.
  2. Excludes special orders, final sales, floor samples, and adjustable bases.
  3. If, after 30 days, and before 120 days, you have not reached your desired level of comfort, you may exchange your mattress for the same size mattress one time. A $69.99 restocking fee is required.
  4. Mattress sales are final sale unless a non-refundable mattress protection pad is purchased from NFM at the time of mattress purchase.
  5. Your mattress must be clean, undamaged, free from stains and the “do not remove under penalty of law” label must be intact.
  6. A mattress protection pad must be purchased from NFM at the time of your mattress order (mattress protection pads are non-refundable).
  7. Standard transportation/delivery charges apply. Free delivery promotions do not apply on exchanges under this policy.
  8. All exchanges must be for the same size mattress set.
  9. Mattress returns outside this policy are subject to additional restocking fees or denial of return.
  10. The customer is responsible for the transportation of the product, which means they need to switch it out themselves or pay a pick-up fee for the original items, or a delivery fee for the new item(s). The customer is responsible for the transportation of the reselected product and pick-up fees for the original item.

Exchanges of box springs for height will be assessed a 25% restock fee on the price of the box and shipping charges (if delivered by NFM). Customers are responsible for transportation.

NFM will assess a minimum of 25% fee for customers who cancel "Special Order" items. Items purchased "Special Order" may not be returned. No exceptions.

Due to the mass production process, items noted on your receipt may have imperfections. These may include fit and finish flaws. NFM cannot provide service or exchanges as a result of manufacturer’s imperfections. However, manufacturer’s warranties still apply.
